Job descriptions range from a few cryptic lines in emails to 10-page wish lists on steroids. How do you decipher the information in these job postings to truly understand what the company wants? Until you “crack the code,” you can’t create the effective selling points about your strengths and skills that are key to tailoring your resume, writing a strong cover letter and preparing interview notes that are vital to getting the job.
In this two-1/2 hour session, you will learn techniques to help you quickly identify the key points that are truly important to the company. Once you can do that, it is easier to write value statements, cover letters and interview talking points that clearly and directly address the needs of hiring companies.
